Randy McGravey has been playing guitar for over 17 years and has a Bachelor's degree in Music Business from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. His degree was obtained in 2013. He has been teaching guitar lessons for over 6 years and currently teaches in multiple locations including the Chelmsford, MA and Bedford, MA school systems, as well as North Main Music in Nashua, NH. He has published over 7 books for guitar and ukulele which are available exclusively on Amazon. Randy also teaches bass and ukulele.
Randy has been in various bands over the years and currently performs as a solo guitarist/vocalist, with Rhode Island-based country band Retro Country Experience and with Worcester-based cover band Mint. Randy has performed all over New England as well as parts of Tennessee.
In addition to live performance, Randy is also an accomplished studio musician. He recorded on singer Lexi James' "Brave" EP in Nashville, TN with Grammy award winning producer James Stroud and Grammy award winning sound engineer Julian King in January of 2016.
Randy currently has a catalog of over 900 recordings available for licensing. Styles include rock, corporate music, acoustic, tropical, country, electronic and more. Randy is proud to provide live performance services throughout New England. Performances can include weddings, private parties, holiday functions, country club gigs, bars, etc. Lineups range from 1 to 7 members. Musical styles include rock, pop, country, blues, jazz, reggae, etc.
