Hey everyone, this is similar to my recent blog post about wedding ceremonies. Today we are talking about cocktail hour music. I wanted to provide a list of common songs, popular requests and timeless classics that I often perform for cocktail hours.
Cocktail hour is a fun time where wedding guests can mingle, have a drink and vibe out to some music. In my case, the music is acoustic guitar and vocals. There are also situations where I play with an acoustic duo or trio and those are even more exciting!
I always discuss setlists with clients before the event. You never know what artists they will love (or hate)! Requests are common and I am happy to do them. The following is an alphabetical list of songs that I think work great for cocktail hour.
